For those of you who haven’t yet heard, i’m planning to name my baby Audrey. I never imagined choosing a name to be so difficult, but it took me a lot of time to choose a name that I could stick with! When I thought of the name Audrey, I knew right then that would be the name of my baby girl. It just fit.
The ultrasound today went pretty quickly and as expected. Things surprisingly went according to plan! Everything with the baby is normal, and as of now she weighs 4 pounds and 11 ounces! It’s a relief when all of your prayers pay off! It’s alarming to think that Audrey could be here anytime from now until the end of May. I’m just hoping that everything turns out to be okay, and that my baby is as healthy as possible when that time comes.
I was originally skeptical of the Tdap vaccine, because let’s face it, vaccines scare me. I’m always cautious about whether or not they would really help, and what the potential risks are. It seemed that the pro’s outweighed the con’s of this vaccine, so I asked my doctor if I could get it today. Decisions like this can sometimes be overwhelming, but for the health and safety of my baby, I chose to get the vaccine.
Also (with the help of my mom, thankfully) I found my baby a pediatrician. As of now I’m just preparing myself the best I can and awaiting her arrival. It’s extremely stressful when you feel as if you’re on a time limit, so I try to get in as much think-time as I can. I have finished one of my classes, and have three more to finish before Audrey’s born. I’m honestly not sure if I can complete all of them due to the content of one of the courses, but I’m trying my best to get everything done so I can spend as much time with my baby as I can.
I’ll post another update soon, as my appointments are now weekly. The rest of this week will consist of homework and getting ready for my baby Shower this Sunday! Hope to see you there!
