Audrey rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time yesterday! Nothing can describe the feeling you get when your baby reaches a new milestone. It’s so exciting, mostly because I won’t have to come to the rescue every time she’s sick of being on her tummy. It’s amazing how in the next month or so she’ll be sitting up on her own. And to think she was just born yesterday! Times ticking by so fast, and I’m loving every second of it.
We carved pumpkins last night, and I’m so glad they turned out the way they did! Never did it cross my mind that I would be carving two pumpkins this year. It was so much fun, and I’m so excited to pass down and create new traditions with Audrey. I’m counting down the days until Audrey’s first Halloween! I haven’t went trick-or-treating with my family for years, and I’m excited to get to spend Halloween the way we used to. Audrey and I are dressing up as Snow White and the Evil Queen! I’ll post pictures soon after Halloween.
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, because it’s the perfect time for baking. I’ve always loved to bake, and I always love to try fun new recipes! I found this amazing baked apple recipe on Pinterest, and it turned out much better than I thought it would. I’ll post a link to the recipe below – I strongly urge you to try it, especially if you love to bake as much as I do.
As far as school goes, the trimesters coming to a close in the next couple of weeks. I’m finishing up on my online classes, and the hours worth of work I put into them are finally starting to pay off. The year is almost a third over, and I just have to keep my motivation with my goals in mind. The year is going by relatively slowly, but I know I’ll look back when it’s over and realize how quickly it’s actually gone by. High school was definitely not a walk in the park, and I’m looking forward to moving on and experiencing what else life has to offer. Looking back on the best moments of my life, I’ve realized that none of them involve school… So I definitely won’t be missing it too much!
Updating soon!! 🙂
